Every new account starts with 7 days of full Pro, wherever you are. It begins when you sign up and needs no card. When it ends, nothing is charged: you keep everything and the workspace moves to Basic, the free plan, where your library and citations keep working with lighter limits. One trial per person. Because research does not arrive evenly. A month lets you spend a week deep in a literature review and a quieter week writing, without a daily ceiling cutting off a good afternoon. Every allowance resets at the start of each calendar month. Basic is the one exception: alongside its 20 messages a month it has a ceiling of 5 a day, so a free account is not spent in one sitting. Each question you send Alfred is one message, however much reading Alfred does to answer it. Ask Alfred, Alfred on any page, rewrite and Humanize, and voice dictation all draw on the same allowance. Pages are counted once, when a document is processed: a 30-page paper uses 30 pages of your month. Each plan also sets a longest document: 50 pages on Basic, 150 on Plus, 300 on Pro and 500 on Lab.
