Every new workspace now starts with a 3-day Pro trial. It is still full Pro access with no credit card required, and there is an easy way to earn more free Pro time.

## What changed

- New workspaces start with a 3-day Pro trial. It was 7 days before.
- The trial is full Pro access, and no credit card is required to begin.
- Share a testimonial and, once it is approved, we add 7 days of Pro to your workspace. If you are on a trial, those days extend it. See [Share a testimonial](/changelog/share-a-testimonial).
- After the trial ends, choose Pro or Lab to keep using plan-limited actions.

## What stays the same

Your documents, manuscripts, citations, and chat history are never deleted when a trial ends. You can subscribe to Pro or Lab from billing settings whenever you are ready to continue.
