You can now sign in to Alfred with your Google account.

## One step instead of three

"Continue with Google" sits on both the sign-in and sign-up screens. Choosing it takes you to Google, and brings you straight back into your workspace.

For a new account that means no password to invent and no verification email to wait for: Google has already confirmed your address, so we do not ask you to confirm it again. Your workspace and trial are set up the same way they always were.

## It joins your existing account

If you already have an Alfred account and your Google address matches it, signing in with Google simply opens that account. Nothing is duplicated, your library is exactly where you left it, and your password keeps working if you would rather use it.

Two-step verification still applies. If you have it switched on, Google gets you through the first step and your authenticator app handles the second, as before.

## If you only ever use Google

Accounts created through Google do not have a password, and nothing in Alfred will insist on one. You can add a password later from Settings if you want a second way in, and you can keep using Google either way.
