Pro now includes one plagiarism check a month

The Pro plan's monthly originality checks have changed from 5 to 1. Lab still includes unlimited checks for anyone who needs more.

We’ve updated how many originality (plagiarism) checks the Pro plan includes each month.

What changed

  • Pro now includes 1 plagiarism check per month, down from 5. Everything else on Pro stays the same: unlimited documents, unlimited AI messages, the Advanced AI model, all citation styles, Zotero and Mendeley sync, and 3 peer reviewers.
  • Lab still includes unlimited plagiarism checks. If you run originality checks often, Lab is the plan built for that.

The check itself is unchanged. You still get highlighted overlapping passages, the option to exclude quotes and references, and a downloadable report.

Why

Each plagiarism check runs a real, costly comparison across the whole platform. Including one a month on Pro keeps the plan sustainably priced for individual researchers, while Lab covers heavier, ongoing use.
