# Sync your Zotero and Mendeley library whenever you want

Your reference library now imports the moment you connect, and refreshes on your schedule instead of ours.

## What changed

- **Imports start on connect.** As soon as you link Zotero or Mendeley, your citations, PDFs, and annotations begin importing right away.
- **A Sync now button.** Whenever you add or change references in Zotero or Mendeley, open Integrations and press Sync now to pull the latest into Alfred. The page shows live progress and your last sync time.

## Why

Most people set up their library once and refresh it occasionally, not every hour. Putting the refresh in your hands means you get updates exactly when you need them, and Alfred stays fast and responsive the rest of the time.
