# Find your way with guided tours

The first time you open a page, Alfred now walks you through it: a short, friendly tour highlights what each area does, where to click, and what to expect next. No more guessing where to start.

## What changed

- **A quick tour on every main page.** Home, My documents, AI Chat, Manuscripts, Citations, Plagiarism check, and Peer reviews each greet you with a few highlighted steps the first time you arrive.
- **The plagiarism flow, made obvious.** The tour spells out the part people miss most: write your manuscript, mark it Final, then run the check from the editor, and your report appears on the Plagiarism check page.
- **Shown once, then out of your way.** Each tour appears a single time and remembers you have seen it, so it never interrupts you again.
- **Replay whenever you like.** A small "?" button on each page replays that page's tour on demand, so help is always one click away.

## Why

New users were getting stuck figuring out what to do on each screen. A short, in-context walkthrough means you can start working straight away, and the steps that used to trip people up are now spelled out exactly where they happen.
