# A calmer, more polished way to scroll

Our website now moves the way it reads: calmly. As you scroll any page - the homepage, pricing, feature tours, or comparisons - sections settle into place like papers being laid out on a desk, with headlines sharpening into focus and hairline rules drawing themselves in.

## What changed

- Every page of the website now shares one consistent, gentle entrance motion as you scroll, instead of a mix of different effects.
- Headlines arrive with a subtle focus effect, and lists cascade in one item at a time.
- A thin reading-progress line along the top of the page quietly shows how far through a page you are, in supported browsers.
- The illustration on the homepage now drifts gently as you scroll past it, like a sheet of paper settling.
- Everything is tuned for phones first: shorter, quicker movements on small screens so nothing ever feels slow or in the way.

## What stays the same

If your device is set to reduce motion, Alfred Scholar respects that and shows every page instantly, with no animations at all. And as always, nothing moved or changed functionally - this is purely polish.
