You can now run Alfred Scholar's chat on your own AI provider key.

## What's new

- **Connect your own key** - on any paid plan, or during your trial, a workspace owner can add an Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini key in Settings. Your chat then runs on it.
- **No message limits** - while your own key is active, your plan's message limits no longer apply to chat. You pay your provider directly for what you use.
- **Yours to manage** - only the workspace owner can add or remove keys. Your key is validated once, stored securely, and never shown again.

## What stays the same

Embeddings and originality checks always run on Alfred Scholar's shared engine, so search and plagiarism detection keep working exactly as before. You can remove your key at any time to return your chat to your plan.
