# A quieter Alfred Scholar on your phone

On a phone, most of what people do in Alfred Scholar comes down to two things: adding a paper they have just found, and asking Alfred a question about it. The phone view now leads with exactly those.

## What changed

- Your dashboard opens with **Upload a paper** and **Ask Alfred**, followed by your recent documents. Upload takes you straight to the upload dialog.
- The bottom bar is now Home, Library, Chat and More.
- Manuscripts, citations, plagiarism checks, Telescope and the other longer tools are no longer listed on small screens. A short note on the dashboard and in the More menu says where they are.

## Nothing has gone away

Open Alfred Scholar on a tablet or computer and everything is where you left it. Your manuscripts, citations and checks are untouched, and a link to any of them still opens on your phone.
